• Online Gaming in the US

A lot seems to be going on in the legalization department for Online Gaming throughout the Western world already, but last week seemed to be quite an active one for the US and the hopes by many for the market to re-open seem to be growing.
Many will be awaiting results from the US House Subcommittee on Online Gaming which will be meeting tomorrow to discuss the UIGEA act which includes scheduled testimony from former Senator Alfonse D’Amato who is now the chairman of the PPA (Poker Players Alliance).
If you think it’s just government talking about the future of Online Gaming in the US, then I recommend taking a quick read of Donald Trump his consideration of entering the Online Poker business. In addition, Bwin party has made their intentions of becoming the largest Online Gaming provider in the US clear.
Many argue that the legalization of Online Gaming in the US was never a question of whether it would happen, but when it would happen. Is it happening now? Or will the big players be left waiting in the blocks for a while longer?
