• Daniel Negreanu Beat at EPT Grand Final, Will Take on ‘rUaBOT’ at Limit Holdem Challenge

    May 3, 2012
Poker pro Daniel Negreanu has been beaten by Igor Kurganov of Russia at the 2012 EPT Grand Final €25,000 High Roller. As such, Negreanu lost out on a cool €1,080,000.

Now he moves forward to take on Internet poker player with the handle “rUaBOT”, a well-known limit hold’em specialist.<

Both will play 1250 hands across two tables. Whomever has the most chips at the conclusion will win the event.

“In my opinion, fixed limit is more strategic than no limit,” “rUaBot” told the PokerStars Blog. “In no-limit, you always have some guessing games like ‘would he bluff here or wouldn’t he?.’ Of course, such situations often happen in fixed-limit, too, but there is much more space for general strategic adaptions than in no-limit. I think, setting up your standard game is pure math, but exploiting your opponents patterns is an art…and will always be!”
